Tristel
first launched its aldehyde-free endoscope sterilant in 1995. Today,
Tristel products are the most widely used disinfectants in endoscope
decontamination in the United Kingdom. The products are renowned for
their safety, efficacy and ease of use.
Tristel's core chlorine dioxide chemistry has been incorporated into
many innovative packaging and delivery formats. The product portfolio
addresses the decontamination needs of many specialist applications
within hospitals, for example otorhinolaryngology, ultrasound,
laboratories, dental clinics, in-vitro fertility, as well as
gastroenterology and critical care surfaces.
Tristel commenced its overseas expansion programme in 2005 and is today
represented in over 20 countries throughout Europe,
Africa,
the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.
In June 2005, Tristel joined the London Stock Exchange
Alternative Investment Market. The ticker symbol is TSTL.
In 2007 Tristel established its in-house manufacturing facility, based
in 20,000 sq ft premises located close to Newmarket, Suffolk,
UK.
