SHOT is designed for the sporicidal disinfection of medical surfaces, with a universal contact time of 5 minutes. One SHOT capsule, combined with tap water, generates 500ml of chlorine dioxide working solution. SHOT is effective against bacterial spores, mycobacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and vegetative bacteria.

Small, light and innovative, SHOT has been designed with the environment in mind. One SHOT delivers 100 x 5ml doses of working solution which equates to 100 freshly-made sporicidal surface wipes, all dosed from a system of reusable and recyclable bottles.

Each SHOT capsule contains concentrates of two solutions; Tristel Base (citric acid) and Tristel Activator (sodium chlorite). These solutions are mixed when bursting a SHOT Capsule into a water-filled SHOT Bottle, generating chlorine dioxide (ClO2) working solution.

Microbiological Efficacy

SHOT has been extensively tested according to the latest applicable European Norm requirements and is compliant with EN 14885:2018. SHOT is effective against a wide range of microorganisms within a 5-minute contact time including bacterial spores, mycobacteria, viruses, fungi and yeast, and vegetative bacteria.
